This is a new offering for 2026 with teh dates yet to be set. I am planning a residential course, with accommodation on offer in our self-catering holiday-let accommodation in the annex that adjoins our house, Grange Cottage. We also have holiday let accommodation in the city of Wells, which is just a ten minute drive from my studio in Bowlish. The course title is “Embroidery Techniques for Fine Bindings”.
I run weekly private tuition in the studio for up to four students. This is geared towards guiding students through their own personal bookbinding projects from start to finish. These run from 9am – 12am on a Monday morning and cost £40 per session.
There is space for up to eight students for specific tutor-led workshops. These are priced on a course-by-course basis and cover a wide variety of subjects.
I offer one-to-one tuition at a cost of £50 per hour, or a full day can be booked at £340. These sessions are for students with some prior bookbinding experience that wish to spend time working on specific projects.
Yes, I may be able to come to you! Some of the group workshops are portable so if you’d like me come and teach your group please get in touch. Or if you run event and want to book me for a talks or demonstrations about any aspect of my work, I am open to this.
